Strate Sound is a 3000 square foot recording facility located 20 minutes east of downtown San Diego . Built in 1975, this facility is like no other recording studio in the city. Modeled after the famous GoldStar Studio's studio B room in Hollywood, and designed by David Gold himself, Strate Sound studio has a very unique design which incorporates features from both early and recent recording techniques. We specialize in all genres of audio recording, from demos to album projects, film and tv soundtracks, jingles, radio spots, etc. Strate Sound is interested in seeing you take your music or audio project to the next level, delivering the highest standard of quality to every project that comes through the door, giving each client the  individualized attention they deserve. Strate Sound is operated by producer/engineer Alan Sanderson, former chief engineer at Cello and Oceanway studios, and avid gear collector/engineer Brian Strate.
